The 2nd Chairperson Meeting of the Jilin Province Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was successfully held.

The Jilin Province Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance held its second Chairman's Meeting in Liaoyuan City. Attendees included Zhang Weihan, Deputy Director of the Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology, leaders from the Liaoyuan City Science and Technology Bureau, and senior representatives from the vice-chairman units.

Duan Chengjun, Chairman of Jilin Boda Weiye Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., the leading unit of the Jilin Province Chemical Pharmaceutical Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, pointed out in his speech that since the establishment of the alliance, under the wise guidance of the Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Office of the Jilin Province Pharmaceutical and Health Industry Promotion Group, and with the active participation of all member units, the alliance has carried out a series of initiatives centered on the theme of innovative development in the province's chemical pharmaceutical industry, thereby significantly boosting the growth of Jilin's chemical pharmaceutical sector.

Regarding the alliance's next key priorities, Chairman Duan Chengjun emphasized two key areas:

First, we must establish a chemical pharmaceutical public service platform characterized by a scientific architecture, clear division of responsibilities, open collaboration, and efficient operations. This platform will foster a relatively complete innovation system for chemical pharmaceuticals—spanning from basic research and applied studies to pilot-scale production and beyond—thereby strengthening the intrinsic driving force for technological innovation within the chemical pharmaceutical industry and significantly enhancing both the capability and sophistication of its technological advancements.

Second, the Innovative Strategic Alliance for Chemical Drug Technology is a highly concentrated industry consortium that integrates knowledge, technology, talent, research, pilot-scale testing, industrialization, and market-oriented operations. It serves as a vital support platform for the development of high-tech chemical drug industries, fostering robust interactions and mutual complementarity among industry, academia, research, and application. Ultimately, it aims to achieve true resource sharing and leverage complementary strengths, enhancing the ability to commercialize scientific and technological innovations—and paving a new path for our province’s chemical pharmaceutical sector toward internationalization, specialization, and high-end advancement.

The successful convening of this meeting will play a positive and catalytic role in deepening the various initiatives of the Jilin Province Chemical Pharmaceutical Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance.
