On September 11, Cheng Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, conducted an in-depth inspection of project construction efforts in Dongliao County, Longshan District, and the High-tech Zone. He emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, uphold project-driven development as a key engine, adopt multiple measures to boost industrial growth momentum, and continuously build momentum and unlock potential for high-quality development.

On September 11, Cheng Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, visited Jilin Boda Weiye Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to inspect the company’s intelligent transformation project for its production line. During the visit, Wu Shaohui, Executive Vice President of the company, provided a detailed introduction to the intelligent upgrade initiative.

Cheng Yu visited one after another the construction sites of several key projects, including Phase II of the industrialization project for electrostatic-functional PP fibers with oil-free agents at Huafang; the training and practice base for high-end European-standard automotive molds produced by Gezhi Auto; the Jincheng Heavy Industry base, which aims to manufacture 10,000 new-energy vehicles and heavy-duty engineering vehicles annually; the 3D automotive cover glass facility at Shengyuan New Materials; the conductive battery foil and its coated production line at Jingfu New Materials; the intelligent upgrade of BoDa Weiye's clopidogrel production line; and the expansion of Jialida Gelatin's annual 6,500-ton gelatin production line. At each site, he reviewed construction progress, identified and addressed existing challenges, and explored ways to further enhance project quality and efficiency.

Cheng Yu emphasized the need to firmly establish the philosophy that "projects are king," strengthening both the sense of responsibility and urgency in project construction. He urged everyone to keep project development firmly in mind, take decisive action, and translate commitments into concrete results, ensuring that projects move forward with full momentum. It is essential to consistently leverage technological innovation to drive industrial advancement, accelerating the cultivation and growth of new, high-quality productivity. We must strive to build a portfolio of landmark projects—big, impactful initiatives that lay solid foundations and foster long-term growth. Grounded in solid fundamentals yet with an eye on the future, we must broaden our thinking and explore diverse avenues for development. By continuously enhancing industry support systems, bolstering innovation and R&D capabilities, and strengthening product competitiveness, we can seize the leading edge in the "smart" market—and unlock even greater opportunities for growth. Finally, we must stay vigilant about potential challenges, address them precisely and effectively, and continually refine our service and support mechanisms.
