Tracing the Red Footsteps, Remembering the Party's Purpose 2017-07-03

To commemorate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to warmly welcome the successful convening of the 19th National Congress of the Party, "July . On the eve of "One," the company's Party Committee organized all party members and active party candidates to visit the Liberation General Memorial Hall in Xiaosiping Township, Dongfeng County, Jilin Province, for an educational trip. There, they paid tribute to the remarkable achievements of revolutionary martyrs, received a profound lesson in patriotism, and participated in an oath-taking ceremony for new party members, as well as a重温入党誓词 (reaffirmation of their vows) activity led by veteran party members.

General Xie Fang was born in Xiaosiping Village, Xiaosiping Town, Dongfeng County, Jilin Province. He is one of the few generals who emerged from the fertile black soil of Northeast China. With deep respect, party members revisited the Xie Fang General Memorial Hall, where they listened to a guide’s detailed account of General Xie Fang’s remarkable life, viewed his personal photographs and treasured artifacts, and watched a documentary about his extraordinary journey. Throughout his illustrious career, General Xie Fang played pivotal roles in landmark historical periods such as the Anti-Japanese War, the Liberation War, and the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, making indelible contributions to China’s independence and national liberation. His enduring legacy stands as a testament to the Chinese people’s unwavering determination and relentless struggle for a better, more prosperous life.

By revisiting the footsteps of our predecessors, everyone unanimously expressed their determination to learn from the remarkable achievements and selfless spirit of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, and to act in accordance with the "Four Musts and Four Goods."   Qualified Party members must hold themselves to strict standards, stay committed to their posts and make meaningful contributions. In their work, they should fulfill their duties conscientiously, demonstrate responsibility and initiative, and fully embody the vanguard and exemplary role of a Party member. They should willingly accept supervision from the masses, cultivating an image of dedication, professionalism, selflessness, fairness, and integrity—qualities that shine through in every aspect of their lives and actions. Above all, they must consistently deliver outstanding performance in routine tasks, bravely step forward during critical moments, and courageously rise to the occasion in times of crisis. By doing so, they will truly contribute their strength to the grand cause of development and help build a brighter future for our nation.
