| In golden October, ripe fruits fill the air with their sweet fragrance. With the earnest expectations of the provincial Party committee and government for Liaoyuan City's pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, and deeply attentive to the progress of the "Changliao Meitong Baidun Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Industry Corridor" project, Vice Governor An Lijia once again visited Bodaweiye—a vibrant and promising hub—on the morning of October 31, 2019, exactly one year later, to conduct an in-depth调研 (research and investigation) into the development of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry corridor. General Manager Xie Wenbo delivered a report to the research team. Mr. Xie briefly reviewed the company's development trajectory over the past nine years, highlighting its comprehensive strategic layout of "one base and two platforms." He also discussed the R&D progress, performance, mechanisms of action, and market prospects of key pharmaceutical products such as Puzhui Zinc, Linezolid, Clopidogrel Hydrogen Sulfate, and recombinant human engineered interleukin-11. Finally, he offered valuable, constructive insights and recommendations aimed at boosting the growth of our province's pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Vice Governor An listened attentively to the briefing and occasionally asked questions about the company’s operations, to which Chairman Duan Chengjun provided detailed responses one by one. Vice Governor An emphasized that the General Office of the Provincial People’s Government has issued the "Development Plan for the Changliaomeitongbaidun Pharmaceutical and Health Industry Corridor," aiming to accelerate the construction of a pharmaceutical and health industry corridor centered on Changchun, with key support from cities such as Liaoyuan, Meihekou, Tonghua, and Dunhua. The plan underscores the guiding principle of collaborative, shared, and integrated development among the corridor’s core nodes, while also promoting deeper integration into the Belt and Road Initiative and the Asia-Pacific Economic Circle. It seeks to attract advanced technologies domestically and facilitate the global export of high-quality products, thereby speeding up industrial transformation, upgrading, and overall efficiency improvements. The plan is dedicated to building an industry corridor equipped with eight key functions: innovation-driven leadership, interconnected collaboration, distinctive regional development, open and inclusive growth, robust infrastructure support, rich cultural heritage, eco-friendly sustainability, and enhanced public well-being. Vice Governor An instructed the accompanying provincial, municipal, and district-level departments to provide comprehensive support services—particularly focusing on nurturing and guiding enterprises like Bodaweiyie, which possess unique growth potential and a strong sense of social responsibility—and ensuring that the implementation of the "Changliaomeitongbaidun Pharmaceutical and Health Industry Corridor" initiative moves forward effectively and concretely. Other provincial government leaders—Gao Cailin, Hu Dechao, Liu Jizhou, Mou Shanchun, Yan Feng, and Han Hongxiang—as well as Municipal Party Secretary Chai Wei, Vice Mayor Tang Yan, and Development Zone Management Committee Director Zhang Fenglin, accompanied the research team during their visit.
