Experiment Overview

　　purpose

　　This study aims to investigate the effects of polyprezinc on gastric mucosal damage and vomiting-related neurotransmitters caused by cyclophosphamide and cisplatin.

　　method

　　SD rats were randomly divided into the following 5 groups: normal control group (C); cyclophosphamide group (CTX); cisplatin group (DDP); polypren zinc + cyclophosphamide group (CTX+PZ); polyprene The zinc + cisplatin group (DDP+PZ) was administered for 20 days. The brain tissue and serum of each rat were taken to detect the changes of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-hydroxytryptamine 5-HT) and NF-κB (NF-kappaB) and degree.

　　Result

　　The values of 5-HT and NF-κB in the tissues and blood of rats increased significantly after taking CTX or DDP, and the values of 5-HT and NF-κB decreased significantly after the combined administration of polyprezinc; compared with the group using CTX or DDP alone , The statistical difference is significant. And polyprezinc can reduce the damage of stomach, small intestine mucosa and brain tissue caused by CTX or DDP.

　　Polyprezinc can reduce the increase of 5-HT and NF-κB in blood and brain tissue caused by cyclic CTX or DDP, and reduce the damage of small intestine, stomach and brain tissue.
